We rented a condo for the month of January. Really nice one bedroom one bath condo; first floor. Beautiful Beach access across the street. Had a wonderful stay but if you want peace and quiet you will not find it here. Lots of yard tools, and jackhammers with the remodeling of the pool closest to us. Also depending on the flight path to Sarasota Airport the jets begin around 6:45am. No sleeping in here. Even with all of the noise we do want to come back next year but our landlord has booked someone coming for 3 months. Means more money for her I get it. Guess the condo association is only allowing 2 renters per year. There are lots of rules here and this one was the most disappointing. Local restaurants mediocre and prices high. Grocery store 2 miles away. Very crowded in January. Must really be crowded their busy time which is February and March. Despite all of this we would come back.
